What is the Midterm Meeting?
The Midterm Meeting is the second of a series of three official events comprising Oceans 20 Brazil, took place on July 1st, 2024, in an online event format. The event featured a gathering of the O20 Brasil Conveners and the global ocean community.
What is the purpose of the event?
This event shared recommendations and actions from the O20 Ocean Dialogues Brasil, the result of extensive debate among global institutions working on the ocean agenda.
The Midterm Conference presented to the global ocean community the essential O20 recommendations that will be delivered to the G20 Brazil Sherpas and Finance Tracks leaders, aiming to influence leaders' negotiations and the joint declaration for the G20 Official Summit in November 2024.
